COMMUNITY PARK MASTER PLAN

CONCEPT DESIGN REVIEW MEETING

Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 9:30AM

We are excited to announce that the city has received a Master Park Planning Grant from the Municipal Parks Commission! Part of the master park planning process includes holding forums to hear what residents would like to see before applying for a park improvement grant.

The city’s existing Park Master Plan was approved in August 2013. The Planning Grant will give the city an opportunity to conduct an assessment of needs for future park improvements as well as incorporate the updates completed during Phases One and Two. The most important feature of the plan is to gather public input.  The Planning Grant will allow the city the means to reach out to the community in an effort to ascertain any additional needs for the park and reassess what has been completed.

Residents are invited to participate in the following survey:

The survey closes on Monday, October 21, 2019.

The Concept Design Review meeting will take place during the city’s annual pancake breakfast and Halloween parade on Saturday, October 26, 2019 where residents will have the opportunity to complete a Community Input Form. The formal presentation will be held at the park and begin at 9:30am. Jay Wohlschlaeger of SWT Design will present the proposed concept design and answer questions.

Notice given this 14TH day of October, 2019.
