St. Louis County Department of Public Health COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Humanitarian Response Program

St. Louis County has released a funding opportunity related to the CARES Act under the Coronavirus Relief Fund related to the humanitarian response program. The goal of the COVID-19 Humanitarian Response Program is to fund programs and services that support the needs of County residents suffering from the effects of the COVID-19 public health emergency in order to promote recovery for the region and mitigate the effects of COVID-19.

Any organization in St. Louis County that helps meet the social and emotional needs of young children impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis can apply for a humanitarian relief grant. Applications are being accepted for licensed and licensed-exempt child care providers in St. Louis County and can be reviewed and applied for here

Cloth Face Coverings

Cloth face coverings continue to be a critical component in personal protective measures as additional portions of St. Louis County reopen. When combined with every day preventive actions and social distancing in public settings, cloth face coverings are an additional step to help slow the spread of COVID-19, but they must be worn correctly.

Wear your Face Covering Correctly

  • Wash your hands before putting on your face covering
  • Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin
  • Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face
  • Make sure you can breathe easily
