St. Louis County COVID-19 Update

New COVID-19 Cases Continue to Rise Among Unvaccinated Individuals

Rates of new COVID-19 cases increased by 63 percent over the past two weeks in St. Louis County, a new report reveals.

The report, posted at, also says that young people, African Americans and residents of north St. Louis County are the hardest hit populations when it comes to new infections. Some 7.5 percent of PCR COVID-19 tests were positive, the report says, which is about twice the rate one month earlier. This indicates that more testing is urgently needed.

Anyone who experiences symptoms of a common cold, including headache, sore throat, coughing or fever, should immediate get tested for COVID-19.
