St. Louis County COVID-19 Update

St. Louis County has tools to fight Delta variant

Recent reports indicate that Missouri has more new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents than any state in the nation, a trend largely fueled by the Delta variant of the virus that causes the disease. St. Louis County has not yet seen a rise in daily cases. But we are aware that the Delta variant is present here, which means that the threat is real.

Fortunately, County residents have easy access to the best tool to fight the new variant: vaccinations. The available vaccines are free, safe and highly effective against the Delta variant. Vaccines are available at pharmacies, clinics and at multiple sites sponsored by DPH. Of special note: From 12:30 to 6 p.m. today, vaccinations are available at the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, 17 Arnold B Grobman Dr, St. Louis, MO 63121. No appointments are required.
