St. Louis County COVID-19 Update

Mass Vaccination Sites

The St. Louis County Department of Public Health will conduct several large vaccination events in the coming days.

The first such event, which is scheduled Saturday at North County Recreation Complex, specifically targets some of our most vulnerable areas in north St. Louis County.
Also, African Americans are disproportionately affected by COVID-19, getting sicker and dying in higher numbers than other groups. So we know this push to provide greater access and greater outreach is critical.

Because we are committed to equity in healthcare, we sought permission from the state to target residents of specific ZIP codes in making appointments for some vaccination events. Saturday’s event marks the first time we will use this strategy.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the North County Recreation Complex, will be in partnership with the Missouri National Guard. We will be using 2,340 Pfizer doses for this event. Vaccination appointments will be given to people who have registered with us and who live in 17 North County ZIP codes.

PLEASE NOTE: In all DPH vaccination events, no walk-ups will be accepted and appointments are required. Only those who have pre-registered with DPH will be considered for appointments. Visit to pre-register for the vaccine.

Other vaccination events:
  • Vaccinations specifically for school personnel will be conducted from noon to 8 p.m. March 23 and 24 in the gymnasium at the Florissant Valley campus of St. Louis Community College at 3400 Pershall Road.
  • A second vaccination event targeting North County is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. March 25 at the Metro North Fire District at 1815 Chambers Road.
  • A mass vaccination event with the National Guard is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 26 and 27 inside the Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny Park at 550 Weidman Road.
